1. You can create email accounts for others and (as
we saw in the illustrated example above) they will be
able to use their webmail withour having to login to
the control panel. Each account owner will be able to
modify his password and configure various settings such
as forwarders and autorespondents.
2. If you use webmail to read your messages, they will
be removed from the mail server and you will not be
able to retreive them later using a mail client such
as Outlook. Your messages, however, will be stored in
the webmail system until you delete them.
3. To delete messages from webmail, you must first move
them to the folder "neomail-trash" and then
click the trashcan icon. Do delete messages periodically,
the space they occupy counts against your account storage
quote. If your account runs out of space, you will not
be able to receive new mail.
4. If you are behind a firewall, port 2095 must be open.
This is the port used by the webmail interface. Ask
your network administrator to configure the firewall
settings.
